More recovery. More You
My Happy Head was born from personal experience, a lifelong curiosity about health and well-being, and the belief that we thrive when recovery becomes part of everyday life. Here, I'd like to share the story of how it all began and why My Happy Head exists today. /Paula
How It All Started
I've always had a lot going on. I love creating, developing new ideas, and bringing projects to life.
At the same time, I'm a mom to twin boys, and like so many families, our everyday life is filled with work, school, sports, meal prep, hockey practices, games, and everything in between.
Life has always been busy, and it still is.
Over the years, I've realized how easy it is to put yourself last. To tell yourself that recovery can wait until life slows down.
The problem is, life rarely slows down on its own.
That's what made me start thinking about a bigger question: How can we make recovery part of everyday life, instead of waiting for the "perfect" moment?
Part of My Story
Migraine has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
My mother lived with severe migraines for most of her life, and later, one of my sons started experiencing them from time to time.
Watching someone you love struggle with pain changes you. For me, it became another reminder of how important sleep, recovery, balance, and a healthy nervous system are to the way we feel and function every day.
I wasn't looking for a quick fix. I wanted to understand the bigger picture.
